		<description><![CDATA[I was recently given an opportunity to own a set of books from Gene Roddenberry&#8217;s library, and that opportunity came from none other than Rod, his son. (For those who may not know, Gene Roddenberry created Star Trek.) A few weeks ago, I was sitting on Twitter just browsing, when a new tweet popped up from Rod (who I only recently started following). It said:
&#8220;Gene Roddenberry&#8217;s entire Time Life WWII Series. 23 books. Excellent condition. FREE &#8211; Up for grabs to War Buffs. Just need to pay shipping.&#8221;

		<description><![CDATA[Rod Roddenberry, the son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett Roddenberry, is giving away and auctioning off several items that belonged to his famous parents. Last week, Rod started with a set of Lifetime WWII history books that belong to his dad. He posted on Twitter that he was giving them away. Oddly enough, I was actually the first to respond, and now then are en route. But the giveaway didn&#8217;t end there.
