Knoxville Anime & Comic Con is June 18-19 at the Holiday Inn Cedar Bluff in Knoxville, Tennessee. The hours for the show are 10am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday. The con is one of the many different ones run by Comic City. It is an autograph and collectible con that tries to provide a good environment for fans. They are bringing both some interesting guests and various dealers to the show.

Holland’s JemCon is on it’s 7^th year and, by all accounts, likely to keep going strong. This annual fan event celebrates the Jem animated series and the line of fashion dolls from Hasbro.

June boasts many interesting and unusual steampunk events; conventions, teas, dances, etc. Including one con that I’m REALLY looking forward to.

Dragon*Con, one of the biggest fan conventions of the geek calendar year, has adopted the use of barcodes for their 2011 registration process.

June, 2011, has quite a few anime conventions scheduled; at least one every weekend this month, in fact.
