Reminder: Inochicon 2010 Happening this Weekend in Philly

Inochicon is a Philadelphia anime convention happening August 27 – 29, 2010 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The convention will feature appearances by Reni Mimura, the LeetStreet Boys, Uncle Yo, Cosplay Comedian Joe, Julia Lichty, and Hannah Minx (who is the Guest emcee). Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

Anime Convention Nan Desu Kan Announces Additional Guests

Nan Desu Kan (also known as NDK) is the largest anime convention in the Rocky Mountain region. This year it is happening September 10 – 12 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, located at 4900 S. Syracuse, Denver, CO 80237. The convention has just announced that several well known voice actors will be making their first appearance at Nan Desu Kan 2010. Additionally, Steve Yun and Tommy Yune from The Robotech 25th Anniversary Convention Tour are now on the guest list as well.

Inochicon 2010 to Feature Performances by Reni Mimura, Uncle Yo and More!

Here at The Convention Fans Blog, we’re pretty big fans of Reni Mimura. She’s a fantastic cosplay singer that frequently attends anime conventions here in the North East. I had a chance to see her back at Zenkaikon 2009, and I’m very happy to say I’ll be seeing her again at Inochicon. Inochicon is a Philadelphia anime convention happening August 27 – 29, 2010 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel.

Press Release: Ai-Kon Announces Dates for 10th Anniversary!

This upcoming year marks the ten year anniversary for Ai-Kon and is expected to be the best year yet. It’s humble roots began from a small University based anime club and has expanded into an ever-growing, ever-changing community that brings fans and enthusiasts together every year. The continued support of a dedicated committee and growing number of attendees has made it possible for Ai-Kon to grow year after year. It is because of the fans and industry support that they are able to continue for the tenth year, marking a decade of Manitoba’s largest anime convention.

For three days every summer, the citizens of Baltimore share the streets with an army of costumed nerds who flock to the city for Otakon. A festival of anime and Japanese nerd-culture where even the strangest costume can find a home. Otakon is a great convention with an excellent atmosphere and enough fun to cure any situation that ails you.
