It’s July, time for Comic-Con at last! Plus Gam3rcon, a brand new gaming focused convention here in San Diego running concurrently with SDCC. And July is practically unofficially Anime Convention Month. Here’s the list of the fan conventions for July 2011.

Half the fan conventions this weekend are here in the Southwest region; from TrekExpo in Oklahoma to CombatCon in Nevada.

June boasts many interesting and unusual steampunk events; conventions, teas, dances, etc. Including one con that I’m REALLY looking forward to.

June, 2011, has quite a few anime conventions scheduled; at least one every weekend this month, in fact.

June marks the start of the plentiful summer conventions, as well as outdoor festivals and fairs. I’ve tried to include as many small, little known conventions as possible so June’s con list will hopefully have something that’s new to everyone.
