The other day we posted the official Dragon*Con 2010 convention report, which featured just a few of the 500+ photos I took over the course of the weekend. Now that they are all posted, cropped, edited, tagged, etc., I'd like to share a few of personal favorites with our loyal readers. The entire set of 500+ pictures can be found on the blog's flickr account. I got a Nikon D60 DSLR just a week and a half before the convention, so I'm still learning how to use it to its full potential, but I think these turned out okay!
I consider myself lucky that my parents are both Trekkies, and that they indulged and supported my love of the franchise early on. When I was young, they actually drove me to geeky events, comic book stores, and even Star Trek conventions. I remember very distinctly that my mother took me to my very first “convention” experience in 1998, which was an event called Star Trek Day at Kennedy Space Center. It was the first time I’d ever get to meet an actor from the shows. One of the guests ...

Now that Garrett Wang is running Dragon*con’s Trek Track, I’d like to put it out there that it’d be really cool to have a Star Trek: Voyager reunion for Dragon*con 2010. We’re already part of the way there, with Robbie Duncan McNeill and Garrett Wang in attendance.
And hey, while we’re at it…
