Gaslight Gathering, San Diego’s new steampunk & Victoriana convention, is this weekend. The May 6-8 con boasts great guests, a Time Traveler’s Masked Ball, Mother’s Day Social, amazing vendors, street performers, and more.

How does one describe the Oklahoma Steampunk Exposition? It was fast paced, confused, hectic, but a whole lot of fun!

May is a big month for steampunk flavored events. There are a few major steampunk conventions, as well as a handful of others. Here’s a quick look at next month’s steamy goings on.

I spent the weekend of March 18-20 in Cincinnati, Ohio at two different cons. One was Millennicon, a long running sci-fi literary con. The other was A & G Ohio, a con that promotes animation, video gaming, and music.

The Oklahoma Steamunk Expo will come to us again on April 15th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It will have panels available from the Imperial Anti-Piracy Squadron, Airship Isabella, the Sailing Ship Kali’s Hourglass, and Evelyn Kriete on a variety of Steampunk topics.
