An Interview with MST3K’s Joel Hodgson

1 January 2010 No Comment by

As some of our regular readers may recall, The Convention Fans Blog team (and two of our lucky readers) got to go see Cinematic Titanic at the Kewick Theater last night. Cinematic Titanic is the brainchild of Joel Hodgson, who created and stared in the cult hit TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000. Well, I got to interview him!

Click the link below to be taken to the interview (hosted at alltern8.com). In it, Joel talks about the weirdest thing he was ever sent while doing MST3K, which convention is his favorite, and what recent movie he thought was “a hack job.”

About Kelly Rowles

The founder and creator of The Convention Fans Blog is Kelly Rowles. She created the blog back in the fall of 2008, and has been working on it ever since. She started attending fandom conventions back in Orlando, Florida when she was just a teenager. Now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she’s exploring all the tri-state area has to offer. While she’ll attend just about any convention out of sheer curiosity, at heart she’s mostly a Star Trek fan looking to meet every major cast member from each series. She’s getting closer to that goal than she ever thought possible.
