Creation Ent. Nabs Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for Their Official Twilight Con in LA
It is the holy grail of Twilight cons, and Creation Entertainment finally got it: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. After over a year of hosting official Twilight conventions with virtually every single other member of the Twilight movies’ casts, they have booked the big two. I must admit, I never thought it would happen. I figured Creation would never be able to a) afford them or b) convince them to do it.
This Twilight convention of epic proportions will be happening in Los Angeles, June 11 – 13, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
Now, here’s the fine print:
1. Robert Pattinson will not be signing autographs or doing pictures.
2. Kristen Stewart will not be signing autographs or doing pictures.
3. Oh yeah, Taylor Lautner will be there too, but he’s not signing anything or doing photos either.
So wait… what? They are attending a special Saturday event, and that’s it? So, they will be headlining the convention. Kinda. Sorta. Not really?
Even Taylor whatshisface can’t be bothered to mingle with his adoring fans in person? Give me a break.
This is eerily similar to what happened with the official Xena: Warrior Princess convention a year or so back. Creation Entertainment put Lucy Lawless’ face all over their posters and website, but she was hardly going to be at the convention at all.
I guess seeing R-Pat and K-Stew on stage is better than never seeing them at all?

Edit: I know it says that the reason the big three aren’t doing autographs and photos is because of “scheduling” but I think we all know that’s a whole lot of bullshit. I’ve seen cons do hundreds of autographs and photos within a very very short time span. It could totally be done if they were willing.
