Loyal readers of The Convention Fans Blog: welcome to the site’s new look! Thanks for your patience this weekend as we updated the appearance of the site! We decided it was time for a general design overhaul, and the results turned out pretty good (at least we think so!).

For the past two and a half years, The Convention Fans Blog has been bringing you news, interviews, advice, free giveaways, and more. And guess what? We have no intention of stopping any time soon!

In addition to giving the blog a new look, we will also be looking into bringing in some new writers. If you’d like to become a guest blogger for us, just send an e-mail of interest to kelly@conventionfansblog.com. Include your name, age, geographic location, and a link to a sample article you’ve written somewhere. We can’t pay, but what we can do is help you get into conventions on a press pass.

The founder and creator of The Convention Fans Blog is Kelly Rowles. She created the blog back in the fall of 2008, and has been working on it ever since. She started attending fandom conventions back in Orlando, Florida when she was just a teenager. Now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she’s exploring all the tri-state area has to offer. While she’ll attend just about any convention out of sheer curiosity, at heart she’s mostly a Star Trek fan looking to meet every major cast member from each series. She’s getting closer to that goal than she ever thought possible.
