The Convention Fans Blog has Changed Twitter Accounts

9 July 2010 No Comment by

Hello loyal readers of The Convention Fans Blog! For the longest time, if you wanted to get blog updates via Twitter, you were following my personal Twitter account (@dreadpiraterose). When I started this site, it was small and Twitter wasn’t quite so popular, so it didn’t seem like a big deal. But seeing as how both have really grown, it’s time for me to separate out the blog stuff from the non-blog stuff.

From now on, if you’d like to get convention news via Twitter, follow The Convention Fans Blog at @conventionfans.

You can still follow little ol’ me if you want to, at @dreadpiraterose.

My goal is to have no overlap between the two accounts, so you shouldn’t see much double posting. I can’t promise I will never do it (you never know when something too awesome for words comes along and you just have to tell everyone you know), but I’ll try not to.

Thanks, and we hope to see you over at @conventionfans!

About Kelly Rowles

The founder and creator of The Convention Fans Blog is Kelly Rowles. She created the blog back in the fall of 2008, and has been working on it ever since. She started attending fandom conventions back in Orlando, Florida when she was just a teenager. Now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she’s exploring all the tri-state area has to offer. While she’ll attend just about any convention out of sheer curiosity, at heart she’s mostly a Star Trek fan looking to meet every major cast member from each series. She’s getting closer to that goal than she ever thought possible.
