25 August 2010 2 Comments by

Nan Desu Kan (also known as NDK) is the largest anime convention in the Rocky Mountain region. This year it is happening September 10 – 12 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, located at 4900 S. Syracuse, Denver, CO 80237. The convention has just announced that voice actors Richard Ian Cox, Patrick Seitz and Chris Cason will be making their first appearance at Nan Desu Kan 2010. Additionally, Steve Yun and Tommy Yune from The Robotech 25th Anniversary Convention Tour are now on the guest list as well.

Fans may recognize Richard Ian Cox for his voice acting roles in Inuyasha as Inuyasha, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 as Allelujah Haptism and Ranma 1/2 as Ranma Saotome (Boy-Type), Nomad in Galaxy Angel, Logan in X-Men: Evolution and Cacao in Trouble Chocolate.

Patrick Seitz has done voice work for over 100 titles. But if you’re looking for his most recent work, check out the upcoming Hetaila–Axis Powers and Grimmer in Monster, as well as Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift and Transformers: War for Cybertron. Seitz is probably most well known for his role as Luke Valentine in Hellsing.

Chris Cason has credits in multiple areas of the industry as a voice actor, screenwriter, and a director. His more recent work includes Hetalia–Axis Powers. However, he’s most well known to his fans for playing the role of Gluttony in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Nan Desu Kan has also booked Cristina Vee (Nanoha Takamachi, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) Wendy Powell (Envy, Fullmetal Alchemist; appearing at her last NDK) and Chris Patton (Greed, Fullmetal Alchemist; appearing at his last anime convention), as well as New Jersey-based alt-rock band echostream as guests. Cross-Pacific indie rock group Kazha will make a special appearance.

Weekend passes are available for pre-order online or at the door for $50. For the latest news and programming information, visit http://ndkdenver.org.

It should read “Cross-Pacific indie rock group Kazha will make a special appearance” not “The indie rock group Cross-Pacific will also make a special appearance.”
