ConDor Changes Venues, Returns to Town and Country

ConDor, San Diego’s longest running science fiction and fantasy convention, has changed venues. After a few years at the Handlery Hotel (pronounced, locally, as “Handerly”) ConDor is moving down the road to the Town and Country Hotel for their 2011 event. Returning, in a way, to their roots; the first convention, back in 1994, was held at the Town and Country.
It’ll be interesting to see how this change in venue affects the feel of ConDor; the Handlery is one large hotel, lending itself to the impromptu lobby cons familiar to convention attendees the world over, while the Town and Country is several small buildings that con goers have to navigate between.
