William Shatner and Stan Lee Attending MegaCon 2011

16 December 2010 by

MegaCon is one of the largest and most popular conventions in the central Florida area. What started as a comic book con (like so many others), has blossomed into a full fledged multi-fandom media convention. As evidence of this growth, MegaCon 2011 will feature two icons of geekdom: William Shatner and Stan Lee.

For those living under a rock the past several decades, William Shatner is most famous for having played the original Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek. Stan Lee is basically the god of comics.
Together they are going to certainly draw some crowds. Lee co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Avengers, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and many others.

MegaCon 2011 is happening at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on March 25th – 27th, 2010. Some of the other celebs on the guest list are James Marsters, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Robin Curtis, Mira Furlan, Marina Sirtis, Kevin Sorbo, Vic Mignogna, and more.

A three day pass is $56.45 if purchased in advance, and $60 at the door. Single day tickets are $23.96 each in advance, or $25 at the door.
