    Ever? It’s possible. I don’t have anything for Virginia in my May list right now, and I’m not sure what you would consider “close by”. HOWEVER, A great resource for a calendar of anime/manga cons is the, aptly named, Anime Cons site. Also, for some helpful tips on using the interwebs to find fan conventions see my Finding Conventions: The Internet is Your Research Buddy post. Hope that info helps you, Lu.
