GlitchCon Announces Special Guests for 2011 Event
GlitchCon, for those of you unfamiliar with the event, is a fan convention gathering up all that’s best in sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, and anime fan cultures. While also bringing together local fandom communities and donating to charity.
Sound kick ass? It gets better.
The event’s in early September this year, but already GlitchCon has announced a killer Special Guest lineup.
- Marina Sirtis, known for her role as Councilor Deanna Troi on Star Trek: Next Generation
- Ethan Phillips, familiar to Star Trek: Voyager fans as Neelix
- Peter Pixie, who was mentioned in our Oklahoma Steampunk Exposition Report for his “..truly excellent announcing and MC services…” at the sideshow event.
- Troy Baker, known for his voice acting in various video games and anime.
- Airship Isabella, known for their steampunk performance art.
From just this little Guest lineup you can tell that GlitchCon 2011 is going to be a pretty diverse affair of probable awesomeness.
GlitchCon is produced by Infam0us Productions. Their 2011 event will be held September 9-11 at the Double Tree Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas. The charity of choice for this year’s event is the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.
Registration is currently open and ranges in price from $20 to $150.
