Anime Punch is this April 22-24. It’s run by a few different principles than most. First they strive to be an anime only con, meaning they try to focus as much of the con as they can on anime. Not that they put down such things as video games, manga, j-pop, or the like just that they wish to put the ‘anime’ back in ‘anime con.’

Apparently it’s “illegal” to ban Rob Granito as a vendor at all conventions. Also, he is planning a one-man show for New York Comic Con. All the crazy you’ve come to expect from Granito and more!

There are a lot of convention types out there; comic cons, furry meets, sci-fi/fantasy events, horror film festivals, etc. Here’s a quick sampler of some of the most specific cons out there in fan-land.

The Oklahoma Steamunk Expo will come to us again on April 15th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It will have panels available from the Imperial Anti-Piracy Squadron, Airship Isabella, the Sailing Ship Kali’s Hourglass, and Evelyn Kriete on a variety of Steampunk topics.
