New York Comic Con VIP Packages Almost Sold Out
This October 13-16 is the New York Comic Con, the East Coast’s biggest and most exciting pop culture convention. With guests from the comics, anime, literary, and entertainment industries. NYCC is kind of like SDCC’s shorter twin sister.
Unlike SDCC, though, the New York Comic Con offers several VIP ticket packages filled with perks, special access, and VIP goodies. The Special Access Package is sold out, but there are still some VIP tixs available in the Anime Access and Ultimate Access packages. Quantities are limited, though, so you’ll have to decide quickly.
Oh, and if you’ve already purchases your badges for NYCC? Yes, you can upgrade to one of the two VIP packages with slots still open. BUT you must call the Con (888-605-6059 or 203-840-5635) to upgrade your ticket to a VIP level. You can not upgrade online.

Anime Access Package
- Limited Edition Badge that acts as a 4-Day pass and gets you into the special Thursday preview night

It looks like VIP memberships are starting to become a trend in fan conventions, from small local events like Gaslight Gathering to mega cons like NYCC. It’ll be interesting to see where this trend goes.
