Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo This Weekend
Anyone going out to Chicago this weekend for C2E2? I’d nearly forgotten about the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo until comics writer Cullen Bunn (The Damned, Sixth Gun, etc) mentioned it on his Facebook.
I have been SO out of it this year so far. If I forget about many more major comic conventions I’m going to have to turn in my geek card
There’s still time to buy your con tickets at a discounted price as the C2E2 membership fee goes up Thursday at 11:59pm CDT.
The 2012 Chicago Comic & entertainment Expo has got several long and impressive lists Guests. Some of the most existing celebrity appearances scheduled are from John Barrowman, John Cusack, Lauren Cohan, Gail Simone, Geoff Jones, Sean Astin, and Jhonen Vasquez.
Not to mention geektastic events like Quidditch, the Droid Hunt, Humans vs Zombies, multiple jam times for DJ JFX316, daily costume contests, the New Title Showcase, plus the Ink-Fusion Tattoo Festival and many more.
C2E2 also encourages you to bring your kids. They’ve even got their own special programming for the next generation of fans so bring ‘em! And if you don’t have any, borrow some.
Oh, geography, why must you always foil me. At least I never have to worry about getting a hotel for Comic Con.
For those of you less hampered by this whole pesky space time thing, the 2012 C2E2 is schedule for April 13-15.
