“Magic: The Gathering” collectible gaming fans have another reason to attend Wizard World Comic Con events… well, actually 10,000 reasons! Starting at Big Apple Comic Con, October 1-3 at Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York, the TCGplayer.com Championship Series will host events at every Wizard World Comic Con, offering $10,000 prizes at each, culminating in a huge $75,000 championship tournament at Chicago Comic Con in 2011. In total, over $250,000.00 in cash and prizes will be paid out during the inaugural year of the TCGplayer.com Championship Series.
