An Interview with The Guild’s Felicia Day

16 February 2010 No Comment by

This past weekend, Alltern8.com (in conjunction with The Convention Fans Blog) had the opportunity to interview Felicia Day at Farpoint, a Maryland sci-fi and fantasy convention. Felicia Day is the creator, writer, and star of The Guild, a web series about an MMORPG guild that meets in real life and all the hijinks that ensue. She’s also quite well known for her part as Penny in Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Additionally, she’s an avid gamer and reader.

In the interview below, Felicia talks about some of her fandom convention experiences, what excites her the most about the next World of Warcraft expansion, her plans for future seasons of The Guild, and much more. Be sure to come back tomorrow for a report on her Saturday Q&A session from the convention!

About Kelly Rowles

The founder and creator of The Convention Fans Blog is Kelly Rowles. She created the blog back in the fall of 2008, and has been working on it ever since. She started attending fandom conventions back in Orlando, Florida when she was just a teenager. Now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she’s exploring all the tri-state area has to offer. While she’ll attend just about any convention out of sheer curiosity, at heart she’s mostly a Star Trek fan looking to meet every major cast member from each series. She’s getting closer to that goal than she ever thought possible.
