Game Core Postponed

19 February 2010 by

Game Core, a Pennsylvania gaming convention, has announced that it is being postponed until the fall.

From the Game Core convention website:

We are very sorry to announce that due to some scheduling issues with the convention center, and our proximity to Too Many Games, we’ve opted to push the convention back to the fall. To be sure that this kind of change cannot happen again, we expect to be signing the confirmed contract with the convention hall within the next 14 days, and we will officially announce the date when things are fully confirmed and locked in stone.

While we are sorry to have to move the date, the recent storms and snow, as well as the near proximity of TMG, had caused us a great deal of challenge in planning things out correctly. We encourage you all to attend TMG on Sunday, April 18th (www.toomanygames.com). Also if you’re in the area, check out the National Haunters Convention on the weekend of April 30-May 2nd (http://www.nationalhauntersconvention.com/) ; They’re a great show if you like anything Halloween, from costumes to animatronics, even LARPS, they’ve got it. Yeah, they’re both great shows, but don’t start forgetting about Game Core!

As a thank you, anyone who is already pre-registered for the current show will have the option to change their registration to the new date, and receive a $5 coupon good at any vendor in our show. Refunds will also be offered if you would not like to change to the new date, but we urge you to come and see what Game Core has to show you.

We at Game Core greatly appreciate your understanding in this issue, and hope you understand that this change, though awkward, will lead to an unbelievable show in the fall.

If you have any further questions or issues, please contact Paul Truitt or Matt Scheer.
