Victoria Paege Becomes Phoenix Comicon Spokeswoman

Phoenix, AZ March 23, 2010: The Phoenix Comicon now has an official spokeswoman, Victoria Paege. She has worked on several film and web series projects, such as “Piranha 3D”, “The Backup Plan”, “Western X” and “One Last Day”.

“We are so excited to have Victoria as part of our team, “said Joe Boudrie, Phoenix Comicon Programming Director, “She has a bigger network web than Spider Girl. Is there anyone she doesn’t know?”

Along with being beautiful, talented and the resident “girl geek”, Paege will interview Phoenix Comicon Guests and other industry professionals and post to the official Phoenix Comicon blog. Though she is a serious actress, she is also a serious comic book reader and cannot wait to start her work for the convention.

“Me and Victoria geek out together all the time,” said Ed Harris, Comics Programming Director, “She is living proof that not all geeks wear glasses and brightly colored t-shirts. Some of us are pretty.”

Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture event of the southwest, presenting guests and programming for hobbyists and fans by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, TV, and gaming industries. Entering its ninth year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 10,000+ attendees to its May 27-30, 2010 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency located in downtown Phoenix.
