TeslaCon is a steampunk convention happening November 5 – 7, 2010 at the Radisson in West Madison, Wisconsin.  The event was originally scheduled for November 19 – 21, but it has since been moved up to “prevent possible collisions and turbulent conditions that shifted over the Northern Americas Continent.”

Guests for TeslaCon 2010 include Megan Maude (clothing designer), Samantha Rei (clothing designer), Heather Luca (clothing designer/corsetier), Scarring Party (musical act), Eli August (musician), and Cherie Priest (author).

Some of the events and attractions currently planned for TeslaCon are a poker room, a 2010 LEGO® SteamPunk Contest, an original play called “A Dark and Stormy Night”, a fashion exhibition called “Haute Spectaculaire!”, and a Victorian-style Rococo-themed fancy dress game parlour. There will also be panel discussions and a small vendor area.

Tickets are currently on sale via the TeslaCon website. A standard weekend ticket is $40.00 until September 30, when the price will rise by an additional $5. There is a “Grande Royale Membership” available for $125. There isn’t any real information on what this special membership includes, unfortunately.
