should consider coming out for “Frozen in Time: A Steampunk Celebration”. This special event is hosted by the very same folks who bring you The Steampunk World’s Fair.

“Frozen in Time: A Steampunk Celebration” is being held December 4th, from 6 p.m. – 12 a.m, at The Terrace Ballroom at The Crowne Plaza Hotel. The hotel is located at 110 Davidson Ave., Somerset, NJ 08873.

Deejays The Davenport Sisters of The Clockwork Cabaret, and Baron von Crankshaft of Dorian’s Parlor will be spinning, and there’s a special musical performer still to be announced. There will be tea and appetizers, a formal sit-down banquet, and a champagne toast all with white glove service.

Like a convention, there will be vendors on site. There will also be a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the 2011 Steampunk World’s Fair.

This event does have a dress code: formal steampunk or neo-Victorian dress is required. There will even be a special event photographer there to capture everyone in their finest.

Tickets are $85 per person. You can also opt to purchase the $105 ticket, which gives you open bar privileges (must be 21+). Go to the Frozen in Time events page to learn more and purchase tickets.
