InvaderCON II Tickets Selling Fast
InvaderCON, the Invader ZIM convention that was intended to be a one shot, never again affair has been coaxed into an encore for 2012. InvaderCON II: DOOMCON will feature the full cast PLUS that Jhonen Vasquez guy. Yeah, HIM.
As you can imagine, ZIM fans are a flutter at this chance at a second InvaderCON. Saturday morning their Facebook page announced that a 1/5 of DOOMCON tickets had been sold. Tuesday night I checked the event’s Tickets page. Both the Super Early Bird Weekend Pass and the Early Bird Weekend Passes have sold out. They are still selling the Advance Weekend Pass ($40 till 1/1/2012 – or sell out, whichever comes first).
After that they the CON plans to sell Weekend Passes in two more rounds (if there are any left at those points). There will aslo be the usual One Day passes available at the door.
Given how quickly the tickets are going, you may want to make your plans soon.
InvaderCON II: DOOMCON is scheduled for July 28-29 and will be held at the The Torrance Marriott South Bay hotel in Torrance Bay, which is a bit south of Los Angeles.
