Our Picks for Must See Saturday Programming at San Diego Comic-Con 2010
Every year we cry a little bit about not making it out to California for San Diego Comic-Con International (or SDCC for short). Even though we won’t be attending SDCC 2010, we have looked over the schedule and created a list of “must see” events and panels that we would attend if we were there. Since that programming list so incredibly long, we’re breaking down these recommendations into specific days. Press Release: Twice As Nice: Wizard World Announces New Spring Comic Con In New York City, May 6-7-8, 2011
Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard Entertainment, today announced the addition of a Spring event, Comic Con NYC, set for May 6-8, 2011, at the newly renovated Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York. This fall, the site will host its first Big Apple Comic Con, October 1-3, with Adam West, Mickey Rooney, Julia Jones and Mark Millar among the highlighted attendees, with many more to be announced.

Press Release: New York Comic Con Announces First Round of Guests!
New York Comic Con (NYCC) has today announced its first major round of comic guest appearances at this year’s show which will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, October 8 – 10, 2010. Convention officials note that while the final NYCC guest list will span the pop culture universe, including authors, writers, film actors and directors, by far the largest contingent of guest appearances will be from the world of comics. A few of the many guests who have been revealed in today’s announcement include: Adam Hughes, Steve McNiven, Steve Epting, Bob Layton and Greg Pak.

Mark Hamill Shows Fans His Dark Side for Star Wars Celebration V
The big news yesterday was that Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars franchise, will be appearing at the Star Wars Celebration V convention in Orlando. This got everyone super excited… temporarily. You see, Mark Hamill has one of the most outlandish autograph fees in fandom. If you want to get it at Star Wars Celebration V, you’ll have to pony up $125.00.
