Okay steampunk fans, you now have plans for May 6 – 8, 2011. Trust me, anything else you have scheduled that weekend pales in comparison to this event I’m about to share with you. Jeff Mach, the man behindWicked Faire and The Steampunk World’s Fair, along with Thomas Willeford of Brute Force Leather, have announced an amazing event dubbed the International Steampunk City.

Here at The Convention Fans Blog, we are madly in love with a monthly Philly steampunk event called Dorian’s Parlor. It’s part mini-convention, part Victorian nightclub, part fashion show, and part concert. On top of all that, the lighting and sound design is handled by CircuitSix, a killer production company based in the Philadelphia area. And as further proof of how awesome CircuitSix is, they have given us two pairs of tickets to give away to the Dorian’s Parlor event in January!
