Hacking Update: Our Archives are (Almost) Restored!

Hello convention fans! I’d like to thank all of for your patience over the past week as we worked to recover from being hacked. Thanks to some very diligent hard work from several of our staffers, along with some genius database recovery work from my friend Vincent, we are almost back to normal!

ALSDEAD to Perform at Naka-Kon 2011

ALSDEAD, known as a “Visual Kei” metal band, will be performing at Naka-Kon 2011 as the musical guest of honor. Naka-Kon is an anime convention is organized and operated by approximately 100 volunteer staff members, many of whom are students and most of whom live in the greater Kansas City area.

KotoriCon 2011 Convention Report and Photos

This past weekend I headed out to KotoriCon, a small anime convention held at Gloucester County College in New Jersey. It was my first time at the convention, but I was very psyched to know that cosplay singer Reni Mimura would be performing there. Read on for the review and to see pictures!
