It’s not too early to start planning out your trip to Star Wars Celebration VI! It’s returning to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando following the success of Celebration V last year.

This past weekend was Megacon, a long-running Orlando convention. Held in the sprawling Orange County Convention Center, it has an estimated attendance of 20,000. Programing spans many different entertainment genres, with gaming, anime screenings, speed dating, live performances and panels.

In the first and second parts of this series, I wrote about how to make your game easy to play, and how to keep players involved. In this third part, I’m going to talk about why people stop playing.

Today, I’m going to write about what should happen during the game: how to start the entertainment and keep the ball rolling.

Believe it or not, the key to gaining your players’ hearts and minds isn’t spending a huge sum of money on props and costuming. The key is to remove the obstacles between the
player and the game.
