Vulcan Events, a convention production company new in 2010, has announced a change of name following fan confusion and complaints of infringement.

Jewel Staite, known best to fans as “Kaylee” on Firefly, will be one of two Celebrity Guests this October at Vulcan Events’ con in Florida.

The DeLorean Time Machine as seen in the film “Back to the Future” will be appearing at Vulcan Events in Tampa, Florida on April 30-May 2, 2010.  The vehicle will be there celebrating the 25th Anniversary of “Back to the Future” and raising funds and awareness for the Michael J. I posted an article earlier this week about Vulcan Events, a convention that sort of emerged from the ashes of Vulkon Entertainment. It seems Vulkon Entertainment has now taken notice of this new convention. Funny thing is, I kinda thought Vulkon Entertainment was bust, considering its webpage has had a “Bad News” message for months now, with no further updates.
