Press Release: QC Anime-zing! Announces 2011 Dates & Location

QC Anime-zing! is excited to announce that next year the anime convention will be held June 17-19, 2011 in Davenport, Iowa at The RiverCenter which features over 100,000 square feet of convention space. QC Anime-zing! is a three-day festival celebrating Japanese arts and animation, and the fandom surrounding them.

Star Wars Celebration V Could be Epic

Last time I wrote about Star Wars Celebration V, Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) was the only person on the guest list and not a whole lot more was known. Boy have things changed in the past few months. There is seemingly little doubt that Star Wars Celebration V is going to be a fandom convention of downright galactic proportions. And oh yeah, this guy named George Lucas will be there, and he’s being interviewed by this other guy named John Stewart.

Librari-Con 2010 – An Annual North Carolina Anime Convention

Librari-Con is an annual anime mini convention that features anime viewing, panels, forums, an artist alley, a “Chibi Corner”, a manga lounge, cosplay runway, gaming, and more. Librari-Con 2010 is being held at the Headquarters Library in Fayetteville, North Carolina on September 4.
