Necronomicon, a Florida Convention, is Coming Soon!
Necronomicon 2010 is coming! Run by the Stone Hill Science Fiction Association, Necronomicon has been going on annually for 28 years. It’s a sci-fi/fantasy/horror convention with everything you could possibly ask for: celebrity guests, game room, live action roleplay, masquerades, art show, authors, panels and a dealer’s room.
The Guest of Honor this year will be David Gerrold, an author best known for his work on Star Trek (“The Trouble With Tribbles” and several licensed novels) and his science fiction novels, the War Against the Chtorr series, the Star Wolf series, and the Dingiliad. Other guests include returning favorite, author Timothy Zahn, and the producer and director of the upcoming zombie film “Dead Season.”
Necronomicon takes place in the Bayfront Hilton in St. Petersburg, Florida, October 22-24th. Tickets for the weekend are available for $35 until October 16. The at-the-door prices are as follows: 3 Day membership $50; Friday or Saturday $25; Sunday only $20. If you are paying at the door, when you buy 4 memberships at once, you get a 5th membership for free.
