Shore Leave is a fan-run science fiction convention that will be hosting their 33rd convention this July 8-10, 2011 in Maryland. We’re pretty big fans of Shore Leave (just read our 2009 and 2010 convention reports), and this year looks to be as awesome as ever!

This past Sunday I headed out to TooManyGames in Oaks, Pennsylvania. TooManyGames is a gaming convention that caters to several types of games, including classic and modern video games, collectible card games, and even gaming music. It was held May 6 – 8, 2011 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

Three members of The Convention Fans Blog team are heading out to cover two vastly different conventions this weekend: The National Halloween and Haunters Convention and Too Many Games! Be sure to come out and say hello!

Dragon*Con is one of our favorite conventions here at The Convention Fans Blog. I’ve been attending every year since 2005, and 2011 is shaping up to be yet another great year. Although the convention isn’t happening until Labor Day, there are already more than 60 guests named (with more to come).

Apparently it’s “illegal” to ban Rob Granito as a vendor at all conventions. Also, he is planning a one-man show for New York Comic Con. All the crazy you’ve come to expect from Granito and more!
