Comic-Con has put out an open call for submissions of artwork and articles for the fancy 2012 Souvenir Book. Remember when that puppy was a freebie?

SDCC has opened up Member ID registration. This is not a badge sale event, but you need an ID in order to be able to register and EVERYONE needs one.

In case some of you haven’t heard, last Wednesday (January 4, 2012), SDCC co-founder Richard Alf went to his sweet reward.

he Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award, presented under the auspices of Comic-Con International: San Diego, is given to an individual retailer who has done an outstanding job of supporting the comics art medium both in the community and within the industry at large.
