TrekTrax Atlanta, a brand new Star Trek convention, is beaming into Atlanta, Georgia today! This convention not only features some traditional Star Trek convention elements, like panel discussions and celebrity Q&As, but it also has some unique Klingon programming in store!

Excitement and anticipation for my first MAGFest has been building ever since I experienced the chiptunes concert put on by their organizers at PAX East 2010. The idea of a weekend-long videogame-centric orgy of music and entertainment seemed like such a fantastic idea in my head.

Wizard Entertainment has announced that actor Sean Patrick Flanery, most well known for his appearance in Boondock Saints, will be a guest at Wizard World Philly in 2011. Wizard World Philly 2011 is being held June 17 – 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia.

Big news yesterday for my fellow Penny Arcade fans. PAX East (a.k.a. Penny Arcade Expo East) 2011 registration is now open! The convention has moved to the much larger BCEC in Boston, which is an improvement over last year’s cramped Hynes Convention Center. PAX East 2011 will be held March 11 – 13.

Here’s a great convention for your inner eight-year-old! BrickCon is an adult “LEGO® Hobbyist Event” happening in Seattle, Washington on September 30th – October 3rd, 2010. It is being held at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. You know you want to go.
