Press Release: JAMScon Gets New Name and a 2011 Date

JAMScon, formerly known as the UNCC JAMS Spring EXPO/UNCC JAMS EXPO, would proudly like to announce it’s new name. Also we would like to annouce that JAMScon will be March 19th, 2011! The location has been determined and we will be hosting the convention at University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Student Union.

Press Release: Anime Expo Announces AX Idol 2010 Hosts and Judges

Anime Expo is pleased to announce today the AX Idol 2010 participating hosts and judges for the event’s 8th season. Anime Expo, North America’s largest anime and manga convention, is scheduled for July 1 – 4, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. AX Idol will be held at the Nokia Plaza L.A. Live concert stage on July 3, at 4:00 p.m.

Baltimore, MD (June 24, 2010) – Otakon 2010 will open with an original animated short, produced by Production I.G., as well as an original theme song, composed by Hiroki Kikuta. Once again featuring Otakon’s mascots, Hiroko-chan and Hiroshi-kun, this year’s project will showcase the convention’s focus on music.

QC Anime-zing! is excited to announce that next year the anime convention will be held June 17-19, 2011 in Davenport, Iowa at The RiverCenter which features over 100,000 square feet of convention space. QC Anime-zing! is a three-day festival celebrating Japanese arts and animation, and the fandom surrounding them.
