Our Picks for Must See Friday Programming at San Diego Comic-Con 2010

Every year we cry a little bit about not making it out to California for San Diego Comic-Con International (or SDCC for short). Even though we won’t be attending SDCC 2010, we have looked over the schedule and created a list of “must see” events and panels that we would attend if we were there. Since that programming list so incredibly long, we’re breaking down these recommendations into specific days. Press Release: New York Comic Con Announces First Round of Guests!

New York Comic Con (NYCC) has today announced its first major round of comic guest appearances at this year’s show which will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, October 8 – 10, 2010. Convention officials note that while the final NYCC guest list will span the pop culture universe, including authors, writers, film actors and directors, by far the largest contingent of guest appearances will be from the world of comics. A few of the many guests who have been revealed in today’s announcement include: Adam Hughes, Steve McNiven, Steve Epting, Bob Layton and Greg Pak.

Our Picks for Must See Thursday Programming at San Diego Comic-Con 2010

We’re a bunch of East Coast con-goers here at The Convention Fans Blog, and SDCC is happening July 22 – 25 at the San Diego Convention Center. Even though we won’t be attending SDCC 2010, we have looked over the schedule and created a list of “must see” events and panels that we would attend if we were there. Press Release: Reni Mimura Multiple Performance Events in July

Aspire Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce multiple performance events of Reni Mimura, a Japanese Cosplay Singer in NY, in July. Events include Japan Town (Cool Japan Street Festival), and Reni’s Japanese “Maid” Show. Reni sings and dances her original tunes in Moe Style with a program, “Everyone is a star time” which includes a lots of interactive and communication games.

Press Release: “Comic Book Literacy” to Screen at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International

The independent documentary film “Comic Book Literacy” will screen Friday July 23rd at 4:30 PM as a part of the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival. The festival happens during the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con International and takes place in Marriott Hall in the Marriott Hotel and Marina next to the San Diego Convention Center.
