The Dragon*Con 2010 Convention Report
Every year we eagerly await Dragon*Con. It’s one of our favorite conventions, as well as a great opportunity to spend time with friends. And although we always have fun at the convention, it is far from perfect. Below is a recap of our experiences at Dragon*Con 2010, including the good, the disappointing, and the ugly. As Dragon*con quickly approaches, updates, news, and schedules are flying around the interwebs like crazy. I’ve decided to try and wrangle all the most recent news into one place. That’s No Moon, It’s Star Wars Celebration V: A Thursday Convention Report
“The future is upon us, bleeding into the now; and if we don’t pay attention we’ll be left behind.” At Star Wars Celebration V, it’s all about enthusiasm for actors, astronauts, backyard filmmakers and garage roboticists. Star Wars Celebration V is an epic-level convention. It’s expensive, the venue is bigger than several shopping malls stuck together, and the expected 30,0000 attendees have come from all over the world to be there.

It’s a Star Wars vs Star Trek Convention Weekend!
Two of science fiction’s biggest franchises are holding official conventions this weekend! Star Wars Celebration V, the official Star Wars convention hosted by ReedPOP, is happening in Florida. Meanwhile, Creation Entertainment is holding their Official East Coast Star Trek Convention in New Jersey. Both have some impressive guest lists and activities planned. We’ve already provided some coverage on them both, which we’ve re-linked below, along with some new information and what you can expect from our reporting team in terms of coverage during and after.
