Gem City Comic Con is six years old and a true comic con which still focuses on the comics. They bring in national level comic creators and have plenty of local creators as well.
This is the week of Mysticon in Roanke, VA. Plans are being finalized, attendees are packing, guests are getting ready, and of course staff members are losing a little bit more of their sanity.
Millennicon brings programming on science fiction literature, fantasy subjects, science, space, technology, writing, art, costuming, collecting, gaming, children’s programming, film, media interests and more.
Madicon is run by the Science Fiction Fantasy Guild at James Madison University. The con is held at the college in Harrisonburg, VA and this will be their 20th anniversary. It will be March 11-13.
The first Mysticon was held on July 4th weekend in 1980, and is still going strong. Guests of Honor for this year include Brinke Stevens, David Gerrold, Randy Asplund, Keith DeCandido, and more.
